Were going to take a look at a brand-new theme building tool for WordPress called flourish style builder. Its sort of a tongue twister. If you attempted to say that 10 times prosper theme home builder, and it originates from flourish styles, the makers of thrive designer. Flourish leads and a lot of other plugins that have the word flourish in the front of it, not to be puzzled with flourish cart, which is totally various totally.

So they simply launched a style structure tool and it works hand in hand with their page building tool, flourish designer. In truth, if you do not own flourish architect and you purchase thrive style contractor, it features a light variation of their contractor, grow designer light. Thats what theyve decided to name it.

What were going to attempt to do in this video is take an appearance at all the functions of this. Were going to test it out and share some ideas on it, and try to figure out who this is for and possibly how it accumulates to tools that are already on the market.

  • I joined Thrive Themes in March 2015 and they’ve become my exclusive page editor. That said, having many websites, I thought I’d experiment with Thrive Theme Builder to “standardize” one of those websites. What a freaking nightmare. I’ve found it more trouble than it was worth. But, hey. That may just be me.

Regarding your issue with the blue text in that 3-column template element you added. That blue is the style color for links which – for some unknown reason – Thrive Theme Builder doesn’t provide a selection.

All this aside, I still love Thrive Themes and will continue to use their products (except for their theme builder – at least not on an existing site).

    Great video, as usual. Thanks.

  • Hi – have you actually used TT Builder? I am a Thrive premium member. I love their stuff, especially TT Architect. Only the past week – did I finally try to upload TT Builder – what rubish! It is a nightmare. They have done a terrible job.I have spent 5 days and it just does not work, it does not even like to play with previously created stuff in Thrive Archutect. My advise – run the other way – for now. They also seem to be very slow at understanding their user needs. I get the impression they only listen to sycophants. They customer support – oops, big oops. I am about to create a website for my wife, guess what – I am NOT, going to use thrive – I am going to use WP blocks. I am hoping to wean my own site away from thrive as well. I am so furious with Thrive Themes. Remember, thrive Themes Builder has been out for quite a few months now.

  • Great video. I was looking forward to Theme Builder and it is kind of great. Thrive was rubbish with Woo Commerce but now works really well. Only problem is if you are not careful the Builder can throw out the WP Guttenburg stuff. Overall for a dummy like me though all the site speed stuff and videos that help as a member are really great. Never understood the fields stuff so thanks so much

  • Hey thanks for doing this review! I’ve decided I’m going to use thrive themes, but only after watching the video they did last week where they did a really good step by step of how to set up a conversion focused website in 55 minutes. I do feel they are in their own little closed off ecosystem, which can suck at times, but I’ve found they do most things I need, plus I need to keep it simple anyway. I can get distracted by having too many moving things going on in a website. One thing I’m still not sure about how to do with thrive themes is if I wanted to make a custom post with custom fields apart from blog posts and if it’s able to do that (for example a custom post type like case studies). I saw the custom fields option but I’ve never seen them demonstrate anything like this on their youtube channel. Would love it if you did a video on how to do this in thrive themes (if it’ can be done)!

  • Hi Adam, I think many people have told you how useful your work is, but as someone trying to understand this world of wordpress, I want to say that for me it is like learning to read or write. I ask that you continue to do so, respect that you may have an interest in showing one tool or another, but this is your right, we are adults with our own criteria to choose what to do. Keep doing it, so I hope hundreds of thousands of people you are helping are motivating enough. Don’t listen to the heaters, it’s a waste of time and energy.

  • Hi Adam, I’m one of your bigest fans, your videos are great, practical & very usefull, i constantly benefit from your videos, i have a request would you make a video tutorial about wordpress yubikey security & what is the best plug in for it, tq, keep up the good work 👍

  • Honestly, what is there to whinge about with Thrive Architect? Ok – it’s not free and neither is Elementor Pro, it’s [almost] equivalent, which costs $90+ dollars for 3 licences which only last 1 year whereas for the same money Thrive Architect gives you 5 licences which are updated regularly for all time. Become a Thrive member, as I have, and for $228 you get 25 licences as well as access to ALL their other plug in products, most of which are sensational if you are in any sort of business and want your website to convert lookers into customers. I don’t understand why Adam is so luke warm on Thrive these days when he was an ardent fan in the past and is still a Thrive member. Thrive is not the only company that teases you with products or features that you need to upgrade to get – a great example would be WP Beginner products such as WP Forms & Optin Monster – you don’t need either of them with Thrive themes. Yes, Elementor has a free version and the same upgrade teaser incentives apply, and no, Thrive doesn’t have free versions and yes they are a closed shop to a degree like Apple, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t use Thrive Architect with other themes such as Neve, Astra, Kadence etc etc as I have. Thrive are always adding things, new tools, updating existing ones and have a ton of pre-built pages for everything that are easily edited to suit your needs. I’ve been a member since 2016 and it’s been a worthwhile investment – as some other reviewers on You Tube attest to. Of course, as with all these things, they live of affiliate commissions, so you do need to make you own investigations and judgement, so keep that in mind.

  • @wpcrafter, thank you for the thorough review! i have a qeustion, do you have a recomendation to make online restaurant ordering page for delivery and takeaway? I did some research, and for me the options seems to be a plugin like wppizza or restopress, option 2 would be woocommerce and option 3 would be a form like wpforms. Can you give insight what you think is the best? Thanks for the amazing content like always!

  • Hi, can you pls suggest which LMS is good to manage educational content for my school. To upload videos, ask students to complete exercises, quizzes, rewarding through points, badges etc. Students dont buy any courses online and dont pay fee online. These are done manually. I’m using Learndash. But the options, and look&feel are not matching kids requirements. Kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

  • I’ve been using thrive for about 3years
    Pros:
very good control of designing pages from scratch.
Great if your a blogger. They give lots of attention to posts.
    Cons:
e-commerce is neglected severely. Including thrive theme which is NOT compatible with woo commerce.

  • Hi Adam,
Can you please make a video on making a website like Uber Eats & GrubHub ?
Can a WordPress website achieve the functionality of these websites/Apps ?
Or is there a ‘close to similar’ theme available for these websites in the market ?

✓ Do you teach how to create a Dynamic website using HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript in WordPress ?
